Lisa Rinna Says Charlie Sheen’s Children Are Being Looked After By Her Former Nanny

Lisa Rinna has surprisingly offered some news about the care of Charlie Sheen’s young twins, less than a day after the “Two and a Half Men” star checked into rehab.

“Good news is the sheen babies r being well taken care of by our beloved nanny that was with us for 6 yrs,” Lisa Tweeted on Tuesday afternoon, referring to Bob and Max, Sheen’s sons with Brooke Mueller, who is also in rehab. “she is a god send.”

According to report on People.com, a source said Sheen’s parents helped look after the children last night. According to Radar Online, Mueller’s mother has also flown into Los Angeles to help out the nannies and other staff.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, both Sheen and his wife, Brooke Mueller, are currently in rehab.

Sheen left for rehab on Tuesday night just before 8 PM, a source told Access. He is reportedly expected to stay there for two weeks as a preventative measure.

As a result of the actor’s rehab stint, his rep said on Tuesday that Sheen “will take some time off his series ‘Two and a Half Men.’”

In a statement to Access on Tuesday evening, CBS confirmed production on the hit series would be suspended.

“CBS, Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary in-patient care at a treatment center,” Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment; Peter Roth, President, Warner Bros. Television; and Chuck Lorre, Creator/Executive Producer of “Two and a Half Men,” said in a joint statement to Access Hollywood. “We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter. Production on ‘Two and a Half Men’ will be temporarily suspended.”
