“Little Miss Sunshine” Cast in “Grey’s”

BURBANK, CA (August 17, 2006) — Access Hollywood has learned that 10-year old Abigail Breslin –who stole the hearts of millions of Americans in summer’s indie film sensation in “Little Miss Sunshine”– has been cast as a guest star in the much-anticipated third season of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

However, you’ll have to wait to find out any more details about the character which she’ll play. The new season premieres on Thursday, September 21st on ABC.

Breslin, 10, who first shot to fame playing one of Mel Gibson’s daughters in 2002’s”Signs,” has appeared in films including “Raising Helen” and “The Princess Diaries 2,” and numerous television programs.
