“American Idol” and Steven Tyler have not officially announced that the rocker is headed to the judges’ table – but daughter Liv Tyler gave Access Hollywood her endorsement.
“My father would be a good judge of anything, I think!” the big screen beauty told Access at the re-opening of the Chanel Soho boutique in New York City on Thursday.
Liv, who looked chic in a black semi-satin jumpsuit, stopped short , however, of confirming that her rocker dad was indeed headed to the FOX series.
Access also caught up with actress Paula Patton and her husband — singer Robin Thicke — at the Thursday’s event, where she was overcome with joy about her upcoming big screen project.
“I’m gonna be in ‘Mission Impossible,’ and I’m so excited!” Paula said of the Tom Cruise franchise’s fourth installment, currently in the works.
“He’s one of my favorite actors of all time and he was beyond generous and kind,” she added of meeting the star.
As for details about her role in the upcoming action movie, husband Robin explained that his wife is under strict orders to stay quiet about the details.
“It’s all very top secret, she’d have to kill you,” Robin joked.
