LL Cool J & Ne-Yo Rate Taylor Swift’s Grammy Beatboxing

Taylor Swift and LL Cool J’s standout “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!” performance of the singer’s “Mean,” done beatbox-style, thrilled the audience on Wednesday – but what did the rapper think about the pop star’s skill at dropping the beats?

Access Hollywood caught up with LL after his duet with Taylor.

“She did about as well as I did singing. So, I guess we both got about a zilch, about a zero on that one,” he told Access with a laugh.

“But we’ll put something together better for February. That’s the joke, that’s the running joke. It was cute. That was fun, a lot of fun” he added.

Ne-Yo, who also performed on Wednesday, also weighed in on Taylor’s rhythmic skills.

“It wasn’t bad. It was actually pretty good. Taylor might have a future in some other genres if she tries. Taylor Swift hip hop album, coming soon!” the singer said.

The 55th annual Grammy Awards will be held February 10 in Los Angeles.
