Madonna Reacts To Photo Of Daughter Lourdes Smoking: I ‘Wasn’t Very Happy’

Madonna’s 15-year-old daughter, Lourdes, was recently photographed smoking a cigarette and the Material Mom says she was less than pleased with the incident.

”[I] wasn’t very happy,” she told “Rock Center’s” Harry Smith, in an interview clip that aired on the “Today” show on Wednesday. “Honestly, I don’t think I’m as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher.

“It’s hard — every day is a negotiation,” she added. “But cigarette smoking I’m not very fond of — for anyone.”

While Madonna is known as the queen of pop outside of her home, the “Girl Gone Wild” singer, 53, says her four kids see a very different side of her.

“To my children there’s mostly the one who says, ‘Have you done your homework?’ and ‘Why are you wearing that?’ and ‘Why did you say that?’ and ‘What are you eating that for?’” she said.

The full interview with Madonna will air tonight on “Rock Center with Brian Williams” at 9 PM on NBC.
