Madonna Talks Rumored Lady Gaga Feud

That supposed Madonna and Lady Gaga feud… “boring,” says Madge!

The pop star opened up in the new Rolling Stone about a rumored feud with Gaga that ignited after Madonna called out Gaga’s “Born This Way” for sounding a lot like her 1989 hit, “Express Yourself.”

“I don’t think she wants my crown,” Madonna said Gaga. “We live in a world where people like to pit women against each other. And this is why I love the idea of embracing other females who are doing what I’m doing.”

In fact, “Born This Way’s” similarity to “Express Yourself” was Madonna’s only issue with Gaga, but she’s totes over it – #so2012.

“The only time I ever criticized Lady Gaga was when I felt like she blatantly ripped off one of my songs. It’s got nothing to do with ‘she’s taking my crown’ or ‘she’s in some space of mine.’ She has her thing. I do think she’s a very talented singer and songwriter. It was just that one issue. And everybody’s obviously running with it and turned it into a huge feud, which I think is really boring, quite frankly. And you know what? I don’t care anymore,” she told the mag.

But is there more involved to officially end the pitting of Madge and Gaga against each other?

“Here’s the thing: one day everyone’s going to shut up about it,” Madonna teased. “You’ll see! I have a plan.”

Did anyone else just imagine a Madonna/Gaga duet finally happening or was that just us?
