Maksim Chmerkovskiy Calls His ‘Sex On A Stick’ Comments On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ ‘A Charlie Sheen Moment’

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is backing away from his statement on “Dancing with the Stars” that he’s “sex on [a] stick.”

The ballroom bad boy was caught calling himself those words during a rehearsal with his celebrity partner, Kirstie Alley, and on Tuesday night’s show, they came back to haunt him when producers aired the footage.

“Really? Really? Really?” Maks told Access Hollywood, questioning his own motives for saying he was like “a stick that’s been dipped in like, a boiling pot of sex,” and other comments in front of a camera.

“You’re the one that said it, dude,” Kirstie laughed.

“It was a Charlie Sheen moment,” Maks added.

Kirstie and Maks revealed the remark occurred during their second week of rehearsals and they had no clue that producers were planning to use the footage on Wednesday night.

“Now you will be forevermore be known as a ‘sex on a stick,’” Kirstie laughed.

The two will try and erase that memory next week when they take on the samba on “DWTS,” and Maks told Access they will be going for a very traditional approach.

“We’re going to have a song play and whatever the song is will not matter,” he said. “We’re just doing [a] straightforward samba like we were the professional couple at a competition, straightforward. No show, just the dance.”
