Mandy Moore Shuts Down Mblem Clothing Line

Fans of Mandy Moore’s clothing line, Mblem, are going to have to start looking elsewhere for their fashion fix.

The singer told Women’s Wear Daily that she is stepping away from Mblem after just three years so that she can focus on her music career. However, manager Jon Leshay is singing a slightly different tune.

Leshay claims that the singer is “just taking a break for a few seasons” and that there are new concepts in the works for the contemporary line.

“We’re taking it in a new direction and want to take the time to do it right,” he told WWD.

Not so, says Mandy. Although she loves the fashion world, she tells WWD “If I were to dip my toe back in there, it would have to be the right situation… a great partnership that could represent a true reflection of me and my ideas and you know that wasn’t happening.”

Mandy’s latest album “Amanda Leigh” is set for release on May 26.
