Margaret Cho Gets Her Mouth Ready For ‘Dancing’; Audrina Patridge Won’t Be Inviting Speidi

“Dancing with the Stars” producers may want to start practicing how fast they can hit the censor button once comedienne Margaret Cho heads to the ballroom.

The funny lady, who is known for using a lot of the words banned by the FCC in her comedy act, said she’s been working hard on down her vocabulary to fit in on the family show.

“I’ve been practicing not swearing and I think I did the press conference all right,” Margaret told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson following the “DWTS” Season 11 cast announcement in Los Angeles on Monday night.

When asked what her biggest challenge on the show would be, Margaret replied, “Not dropping F-bombs!”

“That to me is as much of a challenge as the Viennese waltz,” the “Drop Dead Diva” star added. “But I’m gonna be good.”

If Margaret can master her tongue, she expects to use replacement phrases for her usual bag of curse words. Among her alternative options?

“Fudge… shoot, fiddlesticks,” she laughed.

As “Dancing” fans know, the contestants actually don’t speak much live, as the competition is about their skills on the ballroom floor, and Margaret admitted she has butterflies already.

“We’re all nervous,” she said. “It’s a very complicated art form… It’s tough.”

She added that she expects her best dance to be the “cha cha Cho!”

Cho recently released a new comedy album, “Cho Dependent.” It’s her first time back on ABC ever since her 1994 TV series, “All American Girl,” ended in a flurry of disagreements between the comedienne and network executives over body image criticism and East Asian stereotypes.

Also expecting a tough time for herself is former “Hills” star and bikini babe Audrina Patridge, who revealed to Shaun that her first rehearsal has already taken its toll.

“I just started yesterday,” Audrina said of practicing with her yet-to-be-revealed professional partner. “I’ve been getting the steps down pretty good, but I have discovered muscles that I never knew I had, that hurt really bad.”

While she is known for her figure, which was featured prominently as she donned a giant hamburger in a gold bikini for a Carl’s Jr. ad recently, Audrina said her body has actually started improving since joining the “DWTS” cast.

“I’m really maintaining my weight, but I’m getting toned. My arms — I’m getting muscle,” she smiled.

The brunette said she plans to have her family and her boyfriend in the audience, but smiled when Shaun asked her if her former “Hills” co-stars, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, might be invited to watch her dance.

“I don’t know. I don’t think they’ll be there to support me,” she said.
