Mariah Carey caught plenty of attention for the costumes she was spotted dressed up in across New York City as she filmed the music video for her single, “Obsessed,” recently.
And fans will get to see the final product next week.
Mariah announced that “Americas Got Talent,” the show hosted by the pop singer’s husband, Nick Cannon, will premiere her “Obsessed” video on July 15.
“Just wanna let you know that the world premiere of the ‘Obsessed’ video is on ‘America’s Got Talent’ (hosted by NCx0x) Wed.night..July 15th! Mariah wrote on her Twitter account on Friday.
Brett Ratner directed the video, which finds Mariah dressed up in drag, complete with a beard, in the clip. Mariah’s male look shows striking similarities to Eminem’s look.
Eminem recently rapped about Mariah in the song “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” on his comeback album, “Relapse.” It was unknown at press time if Mariah’s video will offer a playful payback in her video.
Mariah will release her new album, “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” on August 25.
