Mariska Hargitay’s home is filling up!
Just six months after adopting daughter Amaya Josephine, the actress and husband Peter Hermann have welcomed another new addition to their family through adoption.
According to People, the 47-year-old actress was able to bring home a son, Andrew Nicolas Hargitay Hermann, a week after filing the adoption paperwork.
Andrew was born over the summer.
“We never in a million years thought it would happen this quickly, but something inside of us knew that this was right, and we said, ‘Yes, yes, yes!’” the “Law & Order: SVU” actress told the mag.
“We knew this was our guy. Everything about it felt right. It felt divinely right,” she continued.
The busy working mom, who is also a mom to 5-year-old son August, said her two new youngest ones have already started bonding.
“They’ll lie in the crib together, and she’ll hold his hand and put her arm around him,” she told the mag of Amaya and Andrew. “She’s already so protective of him.”
