Mark Wahlberg: ‘Entourage’ Movie Coming

The men of “Entourage” are going to become real-life movie stars, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Showbiz 411 blog.

In an interview with series executive producer Mark Wahlberg, the star revealed the HBO show may be heading to the big screen after another two seasons.

“We’ll see, there could be more [seasons],” Mark said. “But then, a movie.”

The show would be the latest HBO venture to head to the big screen, following the success of “Sex and the City” and two movies based on Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Da Ali G Show” — “Bruno” and “Borat.” A “Sex” sequel is due in theaters in 2010.

Next up for Mark himself is a role in Peter Jackson’s “The Lovely Bones,” and a comedy opposite Will Ferrell, “The Other Guys,” in production now.

“I don’t really get to do comedy,” Mark said. “We waited for just the right thing. It’s a buddy movie.”
