Mark Wahlberg On Lindsay Lohan: ‘She’s Certainly In My Prayers’

Mark Wahlberg hasn’t heard from Michael Lohan, who recently told a newspaper he was reaching out to “The Other Guys” star to help his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, but the actor wishes her the best.

“I met him once or twice… But she’s certainly in my prayers,” Mark told Access Hollywood on Thursday just after he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “Anybody that’s having any kind of trouble and needs saving I try to pray for.”

Before he became a superstar thanks to his successful music career and films like, “Boogie Nights” and “The Departed,” the actor himself spent some time in jail. Now a successful producer, actor, husband and father of four, Mark said he hopes things work out for Lindsay and others in similar circumstances.

“I just wish the best for her and her family, anyone who’s incarcerated — that they turn their life around and start doing the right thing,” he said.

As for Mark’s own news – his Walk of Fame star – he said he was thrilled to receive the honor, which he accepted on Thursday, a few hours after attending church with his family to give thanks and to reflect.

“I got a little emotional,” the star said about how he felt after he was presented with a plaque and his sidewalk star unveiled. “[I’m] just very proud, very honored to be acknowledged in this way.”
