Martha Stewart: Gwyneth Paltrow Should ‘Be Quiet’ – She’s Trying To Be Me

Martha Stewart is reportedly not a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle blog, GOOP.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six blog, Martha slammed Gwynnie’s domestic website in a new interview with Net-a-Porter’s Porter magazine.

“She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star,” Martha told the mag of the Academy award-winning actress, according to the blog. “If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.”

Also reportedly on blast by Martha? Netflix’s hit series, “Orange Is the New Black” – specifically the show’s star, Taylor Schilling, who has been nominated for both a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her performance.

“They could have done that so much better. That girl [Taylor] is not good enough, the lead actress, ” Martha – who spent five months in jail in 2004 – griped, adding that she’s spoken with Piper Kerman, the author of the book which “OITNB” and Taylor’s character are based on.

“I met the real Piper [Kerman]. She was in prison either the same time or after me, and I talked to her about it,” Martha added.

And Martha also took issue with Sheryl Sandberg’s book, “Lean In,” and her theories on women in the workplace.

“Too much time is spent… Isn’t ‘leaning in’ spending a lot of time?” she said. “I think being entrepreneurial is something women should strive for, rather than working up the corporate ladder.”
