LOS ANGELES (April 12, 2007) — Move over J. Lo — Martina is coming to the “Idol” stage.
Multi-platinum country superstar Martina McBride will mentor “American Idol’s” final 7 contestants next week as they get ready for country week on April 17, FOX announced today.
Martina will also perform her hit single “Anyway” from her new CD “Waking Up Laughing” on the April 18 results show.
Other stars who have lent their talents to this year’s “Idol” crop include Jennifer Lopez, Diana Ross and Gwen Stefani.
