Singer Mary Lambert, who is featured on Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Same Love,” is in the midst of enjoying her own new love, “The Voice’s” Michelle Chamuel.
The 24-year-old Grammy performer opened up about her relationship with the fellow singer.
“She’s stunning. She’s really beautiful… she’s very intelligent. I love talking to her,” Mary told Access Hollywood Live’s Kit Hoover when asked about Michelle.
“She’s so kind… very loving and expressive, and extremely similar to me in a lot of ways,” she continued. “It’s really incredible to be around her. Her presence is beautiful.”
And Mary was overjoyed to have her girlfriend at the Grammys rooting her on as she performed with Madonna as 33 couples got married on TV.
“[Michelle] looked fantastic. She was in a great blazer and it was really nice to have her there. She’s really supportive,” she said during her appearance on Access Hollywood Live.
With both Mary and Michelle’s careers in full swing, Mary explained they are both focusing on their respective music, but she can foresee a time in the future where she’ll take her relationship to the next level.
“Hopefully… sometime. But, I think right now, Michelle’s in her career and I’m definitely in my career… I’m very immersed. My work is my love. So, I’m going to continue to do that until things subside a little bit. But yeah, of course, I want to settle down,” she told Kit when asked about the future.
“Do you see yourself getting married?” Kit asked.
“Yeah totally,” Mary said, adding, “I want babies.”
