Matt Damon Headed To ‘30 Rock’

Move over James Franco and Jon Hamm – there’s a new leading man reportedly headed to “30 Rock” – and he’s an Academy Award winner.

In news first reported by Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, Matt Damon is headed to the hit NBC comedy, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The details about Matt’s reported appearance are being kept a secret, but according to EW, the “Green Zone” star is slated to appear close to the end of the season.

In December, Matt told the mag he’d love to appear on the comedy.

“I would do [‘30 Rock’] in a heartbeat if they asked me to come on,” he said. “[Show creator and star Tina Fey] should call my people — or even better me. Or I could call her. Let’s make this happen.”
