Current Best Actor Oscar nominee Matthew McConaughey (for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club”) hasn’t ruled out a return to the stripping stage.
Over the weekend, Channing Tatum fired up fans of “Magic Mike,” by posting a photo of himself on Instagram, looking at a bust of Matthew, and adding the caption, “What a better way to start writing #MagicMike2 than with my old friend Dallas?” (Dallas was the name of the character played by Matthew.)
“He kept the prop,” Matthew told Access Hollywood guest correspondent Dave Karger at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon of the bust in the Instagram pic. “So yeah, he sent that and he goes, ‘All right. ‘We’re off. We’re writing.’ And I was like, ‘Good. I’m there with you.’”

Asked if he is “ready to put the thong back on,” by Dave, Matthew replied, “We’ll see.”
“It could happen,” Matthew added of the potential for “Magic Mike 2.” “I don’t know though.”
