Matthew Morrison Joins Star-Studded Cast Of ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’

Matthew Morrison has signed on for Lionsgate’s upcoming comedy, “What To Expect When You’re Expecting,” the studio confirmed to Access Hollywood on Friday.

Morrison, 32, who plays sexy musical mentor Will Schuester on “Glee,” will play Evan in the upcoming film, who is partnered with Cameron Diaz’s character – Jules – on a celebrity dance show.

The onscreen couple fall in love and scramble to meld their bi-coastal lives after learning Jules is expecting.

In addition to Diaz, the Tony Award-winning actor/singer joins a star-studded cast featuring Jennifer Lopez, “Gossip Girl” hunk Chace Crawford, Brooklyn Decker, Elizabeth Banks, Chris Rock and “Up in the Air” actress Anna Kendrick.

“What To Expect When You’re Expecting” is based on Heidi Murkoff’s best-selling pregnancy manual of the same name.

The film is slated for theatrical release on May 11, 2012 – Mother’s Day weekend.
