Watch out Snooki! The UK’s new cast of “Geordie Shore” may give her and the rest of the “Jersey Shore” cast a run for their money!
“Geordie Shore” is based on the hit MTV show “Jersey Shore,” but will be set in the UK city of Newcastle. The show will follow eight young “juiced” individuals as they party for six weeks, living together in a five-star house with shared bedrooms, MTV UK announced.
From reading the press release and the cast bios, it seems the “Geordie Shore” cast is reminiscent of the “Jersey Shore” group that America has learned to love.
Check out Jay, 25, who is eerily similar to Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.
According to his bio on the show’s site, Jay prefers to be pictured with his top off, and is a huge fan of the GTL lifestyle. Getting into a relationship at the “Geordie Shore” would be his “worst nightmare” and hits the gym twice a day — once in the morning, once in the afternoon.
“Jersey Shore’s” Vinny has been pegged by Snooki for being well-endowed, but Gaz, 23, even goes as far as saying that his manhood is as large as a TV remote — and he even has photographic evidence! Another fun fact about Gaz — he keeps a scrapbook of all the girls who stay over, and last he counted, he had 64 snapshots. Will his scrapbook get larger during his time at “Geordie Shore?” Only time will tell.
As opposed to Sammi’s claim-to-fame, “the sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet,” meet Holly, 18, who says she’s the most “real ‘fake’ person you’ll ever come across.” Fake, of course, is referring to her FF-sized breasts that she “tricked” her mother into buying. Holly is also the only cast member who is in a relationship. Any bets to see how long that will last?
Anytime James, 20, walks past a mirror, he admits that he has to check his reflection to make sure he looks “mint.” He lives at home with his parents, but is “happy to be called a mummy’s boy.” However, that doesn’t stop him from bringing girls back to his home, and even “makes his bed with one corner folded down as an invitation for the ladies!” Like Pauly D, he loves styling his hair, and admitted he would “completely lose it if someone stole his hair straighteners.”
There’s also Sophie, 21, who is a pint-sized, kind-hearted, loyal friend… who frequently dances on tables and flashes her boobs. She has a habit of falling in love with men very quickly. Snooki and Sophie sure do have a lot in common!
Vicky, 23, is a feisty brunette beauty who often gets into fights and isn’t afraid to “swill” (spill drinks over) her rivals, like J-WOWW. Vicki works at a call center, but her drinking habits often get in the way of her work life. She has 15 sick days, four no-shows and has arrived late 10 times.
Former castmate Angelina was called crazy by her fellow house members, but Charlotte-Leticia, 20, takes it to the next level when she admitted that an ex-boyfriend “labeled her a psycho for breaking into his house and getting into bed with his dad.” Another fun-fact: to maintain her physique, she follows the “tin diet,” in which she only eats food that come from a tin.
Like Ronnie, Greg, 26, frequently hits the gym and drinks protein shakes. But Ronnie better take note—Greg says that he doesn’t want to be too buff, because he “hates the over-the-top- fat neck look.” Greg may even get a crush on Ronnie’s off-and-on girlfriend Sammi—because he also loves girls with deep tans, dark features and big breasts.
The series debuts on May 24 on MTV UK.
