Meg Ryan Joining ‘How I Met Your Dad’

Meg Ryan will be putting her voice to work on the “How I Met Your Mother” spin-off, “How I Met Your Dad.”

According to E! News, the actress is set to join the CBS comedy as the narrator – dubbed “Future Sally” – similar to Bob Saget’s role on “HIMYM.”

“HIMYD” has not been picked up officially by CBS, which refused to comment on Meg’s involvement when contacted by E!, but the sitcom is expect to get the greenlight at the CBS Upfronts in May.

The series stars Greta Gerwig, who will also be a writer on the show, along with Nick D’Agosto, Anders Holm and Drew Tarver.

The comedy will tell the story of Sally, played by Greta, who navigates love and life as her marriage ends and she finds the father of her future kids.
