Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are back on the road to matrimony.
“Yes, she is engaged,” a rep for Megan, 24, confirmed to Access Hollywood on Wednesday, without providing further details about the longtime couple.
On Sunday, Megan told Access Hollywood guest correspondent Quddus at the “Jonah Hex” junket that, “Of course [marriage is] in the future somewhere” — without revealing the big news.
“I just think, if you’re going to [get married,] if you’re going to be with someone and make a commitment, it’s good to tell the universe, to say, ‘I’m committing to this person and making them my family,’” she said at the time. “If we were to do it, it would be for ourselves. It wouldn’t be for society.”
The news comes one year after the sexy star seemed to be a single lady.
While promoting “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” in summer 2009, she told Britain’s The Sun that she was, “currently what you would call single, I guess.”
People reported in February 2009 that she and Brian, 36, had called off their previous engagement after originally becoming engaged in November 2006. The two continued to be spotted together after the reported split, with Megan confirming one serious aspect of their relationship earlier this year when she told Harper’s Bazaar UK that she was “a stepmother to the fullest extent” to Brian’s son, Kassius.
