Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva headed to court on Wednesday, where the former couple is expected to address a slew of issues, including custody of their daughter, Lucia.
An Access Hollywood producer is on the scene at the Los Angeles Superior Court, where Gibson’s attorney will ask a judge to place a gag order on Grigorieva.
Grigorieva’s attorneys said one issue they will address is “the validity of the settlement agreement” between the actor and the singer. Her legal team is expected to argue against the proposed gag order.
1:40 PM PST: Grigorieva’s attorneys tell Access that they have been arguing all afternoon against the gag order that Gibson is proposing. They have only touched upon some of the other issues, including custody of daughter, Lucia. Grigorieva told reporters, “I’m holding up,” when asked how she was doing. Grigorieva’s mother, who is not allowed in the sealed courtroom, was spotted sitting in the hall with members of the media.
12:18 PM: Grigorieva’s attorneys serve Gibson’s attorney, Blair Berk, with a subpoena in hallway of the courthouse. “You’re serving me in the hall? Really?” Berk said after receiving the subpoena.
After court breaks for lunch, Gibson is seen being escorted to a private break room for lunch. Other people in the courthouse hallway intently watch the actor as he makes his way to lunch.
11:15 AM: Two TV monitors and video equipment are seen being wheeled into the courtroom.
9:49 AM: Gibson exits the courtroom during a 30 minute break, walking out laughing and appearing more relaxed now compared to when he first arrived.
8:53 AM: Grigorieva arrived at the courthouse.
8:49 AM: Gisbon arrived in the courtroom alone, escorted by three Sheriffs officers. According to the Access producer on the scene, the actor – who wore a suit – appeared angry. He entered the courtroom quickly and appeared to be twitching.
