Mel Gibson Reportedly Lands Cameo In ‘The Hangover 2’

Are audiences ready to laugh at Mel Gibson?

According to multiple reports, including People, The Wrap and The New York Post’s Page Six (which first reported the news), Mel Gibson will make a cameo in “The Hangover 2.”

“It’s a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October,” a source told Page Six.

Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zack Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ken Jeong are all returning for the Todd Phillips-directed movie, which is slated to his theaters on May 26, 2011. Heather Graham is reportedly not returning.

Mel’s latest film in the can, “The Beaver,” directed by his longtime friend Jodie Foster, is currently awaiting a release date.
