Michael Buble To Co-Host 8 O’Clock Hour Of Today Show (Exclusive)

As he awaits the birth of his first child, Michael Buble is getting some practice waking up early.

The singing superstar will co-host the 8 o’clock hour of NBC’s “Today” show on Wednesday, April 24, Access Hollywood can exclusively reveal.

“This is a dream come true for me. If singing didn’t work out, I wanted to be a broadcaster,” Michael – who will join Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie at the news desk — told Access on Monday.

The Canadian Crooner will also be performing his new single, “It’s A Beautiful Day” during the broadcast and his new CD, “To Be Loved,” drops on Tuesday.

Michael and wife Luisana Lopilato are expecting their first child together, the couple announced back in January via a video posted to Facebook.

Their baby – which Michael revealed in March is going to be a boy – is due in August.
