Michael Douglas: ‘I Feel Good’ Almost One Year After Beating Cancer

It’s been almost a year since Michael Douglas successfully beat throat cancer, and the actor was looking great on Wednesday when Access Hollywood chatted with him during New York Fashion Week.

“I feel good,” he told Access when asked about his health backstage at the Michael Kors show at Lincoln Center. “It’s nice, about a year out.”

Michael’s wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, was unable to attend Wednesday’s show.

“She was supposed to be here today, but she couldn’t make it at the last minute,” he explained. “I was hoping she’d be here, but we’re all good together and we’ll be heading out of the country later in the day.”

Catherine might not have been there, but the actor had no shortage of lovely ladies by his side. Michael was spotted seated in the front row of the Kors show with “Transformers” siren Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Zoe Saldana.
