Michael Lohan: Dina ‘Has Single-Handedly Destroyed This Entire Family’

In recent weeks, the feuding Lohan family seemed to have put their differences aside – but now, Michael Lohan says things have changed between himself and his ex-wife, Dina.

“Up until two days ago, everything was great,” Michael told Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos in a new interview. “Everything was fantastic.”

However, he said that all changed following Lindsay’s court date on Tuesday.

“It’s right back to where it started at the beginning of the downfall,” he said. “[Dina] jumps on Lindsay’s side. She allows people into Lindsay’s life that are no good for her… she’s the key enabler in this family. She’s the nemesis of the family and I hate to say it. She really is. She has single-handedly destroyed this entire family… I thought she was the best mother, which was when the kids were growing up. She’s turned out to be the worst mother on the planet.”

He explained that Dina hadn’t been at Lindsay’s court hearing on Tuesday because she hadn’t expected a jail sentence to come down.

“I don’t think anyone thought that Lindsay was going to jail except for me and [my lawyer] Lisa Bloom,” he said.

With Lindsay sentenced to 90 days in jail and her prescription drug use made public in a probation officer’s report on Wednesday, Michael is considering his options.

“If Dina doesn’t get on the same page with me, finally, after all of this and help Lindsay get help or make her get help, one or the other, I’m gonna have to do some things legally,” he said, adding that Dina has denied Lindsay has a problem with prescription medication.

“I can’t speak for Dina. She was around Lindsay a hell of a lot more than I was, and more than I am now. But then again, Dina said Lindsay doesn’t have a problem with prescription meds, she doesn’t have any kind of problems,” Michael said. “I don’t know how any parent in their right mind could allow their kids to be on all these medications.”
