Margaret is the mother of Henry Tudor. Princess Elizabeth
(Lizzie) “is forced
into marriage to unite the Houses of York and Tudor, realizing that she has no
choice but to do her duty for England and marry the new King, Henry VII,”
according to a show description from Starz.

Margaret’s
influence over her son wanes as Lizzie’s grows, putting the two women in
conflict.

The
8-episode series will shoot in Bristol, England later this year, according to
the cable network.

2013’s
“The White Queen” starred Rebecca Ferguson as Queen Elizabeth and Max
Irons as King Edward, the parents of Lizzie.
