Miley Cyrus’ Bizzare German TV Performance: Little People & Twerking

Miley Cyrus is making headlines again with another buzzworthy performance.

Just weeks after her controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance, the pop star took the stage on the German TV show “Schlagg Den Raab” on Saturday where she performed her new single, “We Can’t Stop” — and proceeded to spank a little person who joined her to twerk on stage.

Miley was joined on stage by a backing band made up of little people. One of them, who sported a lengthy, blonde, old-school Madonna-style ponytail, and silver lame pants, danced — and twerked — on stage with Miley.

In related Miley news, the singer is making more headlines over a rumor that her MTV VMA performance prompted Vogue editor Anna Wintour to drop her as an upcoming magazine cover star.

According to the Daily Mail, Miley was set to be featured on the fashion mag’s December issue, but after the VMA incident, the editor chose to go in another direction.

When contacted by Access Hollywood about the reported cover cancellation, a spokesperson for Vogue said, “Unfortunately we are unable to comment on rumors about future editorials.”
