Miley Cyrus Debunks ‘Ridiculous’ Marriage Rumors Via YouTube

Miley Cyrus is fed up with the gossip surrounding her personal life, and the teen star is fighting back from the comfort of… her mother’s closet.

The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer, who turns 18 in November, posted a nearly 10-minute long video blog (filmed inside of her mother’s walk-in closet) on YouTube on Wednesday, debunking rumors about everything from marriage to breast enlargement surgery.

“I wanna start off with no, I’m not engaged, or no I’m not getting married anytime soon,” Miley said. “So many people are like, ‘Miley, you know, needs commitment… so Miley should do this, and this.’ Miley doesn’t need to do anything but sit and chill and enjoy life and make good music.”

“First of all, I’m 17– ridiculous,” the former Disney darling continued, on the possibility of impending nuptials to on-again/off-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. “And second of all, it’s like, I’ve just got so much work I wanna get done… there’s no way. No way.”

“Oh — and no, I don’t want a boob job,” she laughed.

Miley also denied rumors that she and Liam — who reportedly rekindled their relationship earlier this month after a brief split — are shacking up.

“I’m not living with anybody – that’s, I think, a rumor that’s been going on since I got my very first boyfriend ever,” she said. “I still live at home, still live with my mom, my dad, my family – no one’s here with us, just my family.”

The “Party in the USA” pop star also set the record straight regarding a recent run-in with the paparazzi, which led to a police escort for the young singer.

Miley said she called police after feeling “nervous” when paparazzi surrounded her vehicle, but the reports seemed to be misconstrued in the wake of the incident, with RadarOnline reporting that Miley had been “busted” by police for talking on her cell phone while driving.

“They started swerving and getting up in my face as I was trying to drive… so I called the cops, I pull over, the paparazzi gets out, and they started taking pictures of me,” she said. “The next day I get ‘escorted home’ because I was talking on my cell phone?… I called the cops to get away from the paparazzi, then they paparazzi’d [sic] that! I really just can’t win.”

The bubbly brunette said she “loves” her supporters, and that she gains strength from the “positive feedback” she receives from her “true fans.”

“I’m figuring out who I am… and that is how I relate to you guys – I’m just like y’all,” Miley concluded. “That’s probably gonna be the next quote – ‘I’m just like y’all,’ and they’re going to call me a hillbilly, but I don’t care.”
