Paris Hilton, Joan Rivers and Crystal Harris might be dressing like Miley Cyrus this Halloween, but Miley is going semi-retro for the holiday!
The 20-year-old singer has been teasing a purple wig all week in photos on Twitter and on Wednesday night she debuted her Lil’ Kim costume from the 1999 MTV VMAs.
The costume skillfully recreated the infamous look which had one of Kim’s exposed breasts barely covered with a pasty (MTV viewers might remember that Diana Ross felt up the rapper’s semi-exposed breast while on stage during the telecast).

Miley’s costume appears to be something she’s been planning for a while.
“In my past life, I feel like that was me. I feel like Lil Kim is who I am on the inside,” Miley said in interview with Billboard earlier this year. “She just makes me happy…I just love her. And I can’t help that I love her.”
As for the pasty-loving rapper, she gave Miley props on her look.
