Miley Cyrus On The Travoltas’ New Addition: ‘I’m So Excited For Them’

Miley Cyrus is looking forward to the Travolta family’s latest addition.

“I’m so excited for them, I literally could not think of two people that deserve it more and that could be more excited,” Miley told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush in an interview for Access Hollywood and “The Billy Bush Show.”

Miley starred with John as voice actors in 2008’s “Bolt,” and the teen star told Billy that the Cyrus and Travolta families have become quite close.

“[My mom] can’t wait,” Miley said of the baby news. “There really couldn’t be a better couple to have this happen. It was so unexpected for them, too.”

She added that the baby news, which the couple announced in May, was a silver lining to the tragic deaths of John and Kelly Preston’s son, Jett, as well as the family dogs, who were killed in a freak airport accident last month.

“I think it’s nice to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel for everyone,” Miley said.

And in discussing her next movie, summer project “LOL” with Demi Moore, Miley mentioned Kelly as a mother figure for herself.

“Kelly Preston has been so close to me for so long, so I think it’ll be good to work with someone else who’s like that,” she said of Demi. “Someone that I can look up to and talk to on-set because they get it.”

Though Miley may be finished filming “Hannah Montana” and moving on to other projects such as “The Last Song” and “LOL,” there’s one more family she’s planning on staying close to – Disney.

“I do want to do things involved in the Disney family,” she said. “They’re doing some really cool movies.”
