After postponing multiple tour dates following a severe allergic reaction, Miley Cyrus has postponed the remainder of her U.S. “Bangerz” tour.
“All remaining U.S. dates on the Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour have been postponed,” read a statement posted on her official website on Friday. “Miley is continuing to recover from the severe allergic reaction she suffered on April 15. Existing tickets will be honored on the new dates, which include previously cancelled and postponed dates.
“Additionally, two tour dates have been added in Pittsburgh and Chicago. The European leg of the tour will proceed as planned,” the statement continued.
Late Friday night, the 21-year-old singer, who was hospitalized after suffering a reaction to the antibiotic cephalexin, posted a photo of herself wearing a duckface oxygen mask with the caption, “This hospitals full of a bunch of QUACKS (get it??? On Saturday, the “Adore You” singer seemed to show signs of improvement, Tweeting, “My 1st night sleeping all the way thru by myself. no nurses needed now up for breathinggg treatments. PLZ say Im on the road 2 recovery!”
