Miley Cyrus Stops Concert After Getting Ill

It was a tense five minutes during the Miley Cyrus concert Saturday night in New Orleans when the young singer fell ill.

The teen star suddenly stopped her concert and fled from the stage after announcing to the crowd she was feeling sick, according to a report by People.

The sold-out New Orleans Arena crowd cheered during Miley’s five-minute stage absence. Luckily, the 15-year-old singer returned and sat on a stool in a spotlight, reportedly telling the crowd, “Thanks, you guys. I feel a lot better, but I’m going to sit this one down.”

Before leaving the stage for good, Miley performed for an hour, including the fan-favorite, “Rock Star.”

Upon her return, Miley was joined by her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. The dad and daughter duo sang their duet “Ready, Set, Don’t Go.” Miley reportedly told the crowd it was a wonderful coincidence that her dad was in town was when she needed him the most.
