LOS ANGELES (May 28, 2007 – UPDATED May 30, 2007) — Mischa Barton was hospitalized for two hours on Memorial Day weekend after an antibiotic she was taking interacted badly with alcohol, reports the Associated Press.
The former OC star was at a friends holiday barbeque when she reportedly began to feel ill.
Barton, 21, had been sick with bronchitis after traveling to London, Paris and Cannes, France, in recent weeks, and as a result was taking antibiotics.
Her publicist says Barton is now back with her family and “feeling much better.”
Barton left Tuesday for an undisclosed overseas location to begin work on a new movie, said her publicist in a statement to the AP.
