“Mistresses” star Rochelle Aytes is one of five ladies steaming up ABC’s primetime summer lineup on Monday nights, but years ago she got her start in a memorable scene from “Sex and The City.”

Rochelle appeared in an episode of the HBO show called “Sexpectations.”

“It was my first speaking role. Ever,” she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Monday’s Access Hollywood Live.

For those who need a little reminder about what happened in the “SATC” episode, Rochelle made sure to elaborate.

“They were at a vegan restaurant. That’s where Samantha met the hunk that she was eventually with in the movie,” Rochelle said, referring to Smith Jerrod, played by actor Jason Lewis. “I was the hostess. I had a couple [of] lines and I was so nervous.”

The episode featured Kim Cattrall’s Samatha Jones, who engaged in an eating competition at the vegan restaurant, as she and another customer chucked back raw food item after raw food item in an attempt to outwait each other and catch the hunky waiter’s eye.

Nowadays, Rochelle is dealing with a different type of trouble as April Malloy in “Mistresses.”

She just found out her late husband had an affair with another woman and sired a child.

“She’s fighting back,” Rochelle said of what’s to come in the ABC drama now that the other woman has come to her doorstep, threatening legal action for child support.

But, don’t expect Rochelle’s April to remain a wallflower. She’s ready to get back in the dating game despite her big conflict with her late husband’s mistress.

“She definitely has some opportunities to let loose and have some fun,” Rochelle said. “She’s trying to move on from the death of her husband and date again.”

“Mistresses” airs Monday nights at 10/9c on ABC.
