Musical Spidey Senses Tingling? – ‘Spider-Man’ Musical Announces Open Casting Call

Do you think you have the acting – and singing — chops to play Peter Parker or Mary Jane on Broadway?

“Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark,” the musical based on the web-slinging super hero, is holding open casting calls in Orlando, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago and Austin.

The musical is searching for principals and understudies for the roles of Peter Parker, Mary Jane, and a female lead villain. Singing super heroes hopefuls will need a “dynamic rock/pop” voice if they hope to spin a musical web over audiences.

“Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark,” with music and lyrics by U2’s Bono and The Edge, will open in New York on Thursday, February 18, 2010.
