Nancy Kerrigan’s Brother Could Face Five Years In Prison

According to court documents obtained Tuesday by Access Hollywood, Nancy Kerrigan’s Brother, Mark Kerrigan, could spend up to five years in prison and face a $1,000 fine if convicted for the death of his father.

According to the police report, obtained by Access, when Mark Kerrigan was informed that his father had died, he declined to make a phone call from jail to anyone, telling officers, “I have nobody to call.”

The police report also states that Kerrigan was combative during his arrests telling police, “I did four years in prison because a cop lied.” He also stated that he wanted to assault an officer.

Officers were forced to carry Kerrigan to a police cruiser and physically place him there.

On Monday afternoon, the Kerrigan family released a statement to Access.

“Dan Kerrigan was a wonderful husband for 47 years, a caring and loving father to his daughter Nancy and two sons, Michael and Mark, and a grandfather of eight,” the statement read. “He was a valued and beloved member of the Stoneham Community. The family’s focus is on mourning Dan and honoring his life and many contributions. At this time we ask that their privacy be respected.”

Funeral services for Daniel Kerrigan are scheduled for Thursday morning.
