Nashville’s Sam Palladio Confirms Return To Matt LeBlanc’s Episodes

Before he was making ladies (and his neighbor, Will) swoon as the guitar-wielding Gunnar on ABC’s “Nashville,” British actor Sam Palladio appeared in Showtime’s “Episodes” – and he’s heading back to the comedy.

Sam confirmed to AccessHollywood.com that he will appear in Season 3 of the Matt LeBlanc show.

“Yes, I am in the third season of ‘Episodes,’” Sam told Access at ABC’s post-TCAs bash in Beverly Hills on Sunday night.

Sam played Stoke (“the guy with the hair”) in “Pucks,” the show the fictional Matt LeBlanc stars in, in Showtime’s “Episodes.” And during a break from his day job, as Gunnar on “Nashville,” the actor shot Stoke’s return.

“Stoke gets a really cool character arc in this season of ‘Episodes,’” Sam teased.

“Stoke is still very fresh faced and clean shaven, even though he’s actually 33 on the show,” Sam added of the look he’ll sport when he returns to “Episodes.”

“I was just really lucky to go back and do some really nice cameo stuff, so it’s all very funny,” he said.

“Episodes” returns to Showtime on January 12, 2014 at 10:30 PM. Sam will return to “Nashville” Season 2, premiering on September 25 at 10/9c on ABC.
