Nate Berkus Marries Jeremiah Brent

At what was sure to be a fabulously fashionable event, Nate Berkus and his partner, designer and TV personality Jeremiah Brent, got married on Saturday.

The couple, who got engaged last year in Peru, tied the knot at the New York Public Library, according to People. (They are the first same-sex pair to wed at the famed landmark.)

The “American Dream Builders” host, 42, wore a suit by J. Crew, while Jeremiah, 29, wore Saint Laurent for the big day. The grooms exchanged matching gold wedding bands from Cleef & Arpels, the mag reported.

Over 220 guests were on hand to help the couple celebrate their nuptials, including parents and siblings from both sides, Oprah Winfrey, “Cougar Town’s” Busy Philipps, Rachael Ray, Katie Lee, Irene Neuwirth and Rebecca Minkoff, according to the mag.

Sheri Salata, President of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, officiated the ceremony for the couple, the mag reported.

Nate and Jeremiah first stepped out as a couple in December 2012 and announced their engagement in April 2013.
