NBC Done With Donald Trump, ‘Apprentice’ To Continue Without Presidential Hopeful

Presidential candidate Donald Trump and NBC don’t mix!

On Monday, the network announced it was cutting ties with Trump following his statements about immigrants that the network called “derogatory.”

“At NBC, respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values,” the network’s statement read. “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.”

However, “The Celebrity Apprentice” will continue to air on NBC without the real estate mogul.

“In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ on NBC. ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ is licensed from Mark Burnett’s United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue,” the statement concluded.

Trump responded with a statement posted on Instagram.
