As “How I Met Your Mother” fans prepare themselves for Monday night’s final episode, series stars Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel are making the harsh reality a little easier to face, thanks to their musical talents.
The hilarious actors – along with “HIMYM” co-stars Alyson Hannigan, Cobie Smulders and Josh Radnor – made an appearance on “Inside the Actor’s Studio,” where a fan asked Jason and NPH if they would recreate a bit from 2006 where the duo performed Javert and Jean Valjean’s duet “Confrontation” from “Les Miserables” on “The Megan Mullally Show.”
Neil Patrick immediately obliged, breaking into song as the Inspector, as Jason jumped in as Jean Valjean. The two performed the wordy song flawlessly (and a cappella!), earning a standing ovation from the audience.
