Nervous Reporter Explains Starstruck Mila Kunis Interview

It was a spur-of-the-moment experiment — giving 25-year-old rookie BBC Radio reporter Chris Stark just 10 minutes’ notice to interview a huge star, Mila Kunis — and, the video of the hilarious exchange has become a global phenomenon with more than 3.5 million views on YouTube.

It was Chris’ first celebrity assignment, and he was supposed to ask questions about Mila’s new movie “Oz: The Great and Powerful.” Instead, he panicked — much to Mila’s amusement.

Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush chatted with Chris via satellite on Wednesday to find out if his deer-in-the-headlights approach was all an act.

“I’ve got to be honest, I’m just as nervous doing this right now as I was doing the Mila Kunis thing,” Chris told Billy, adding that his stammering interview with the star was born out of a combination of genuine stage fright and being star struck.

Instead of discussing Mila’s new movie, Chris ended up asking the brunette beauty (who is dating Ashton Kutcher) out three separate times – one invite to a pub, one to a football (soccer) game and finally, to be his date to a wedding.

“You have any kind of date on the books with her now?” Billy asked.

“I don’t know. As the interview finished I tried to shake hands with everyone in the room, but I was told to leave,” he said. “They were sort of quite keen to move on. Mila had had quite a long day.

“I haven’t heard from her since, but then why would I?” he asked with a laugh. “The offer still stands.”
