Never Forget: Hollywood Remembers 9/11

The Hollywood community took to Twitter on Sunday to honor the memory of the thousands of people who lost their lives during the attacks on America on September 11, 2001.

Here’s what some of the stars had to say:

Ellen DeGeneres: “Ten years ago today, the world changed. I hope everyone finds time to remember those we lost… and to tell someone that you love them.”

British soccer superstar David Beckham also posted a message from his family on his personal Facebook page.

“It’s important to remember the many thousands of people who lost their lives ten years ago today on 9/11,” he wrote. “We must never forget the incredible sacrifices of the police, fireman and emergency services who were genuine heroes. We have nothing but the deepest admiration for those that suffered so much but have dealt with it courageously and with much dignity. Our thoughts today are with the families and friends who lost their loved ones. David, Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz & Harper”
