New Dad Ryan Reynolds Can’t Build An IKEA Crib — Watch!

Every superhero has their Kryptonite. For “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds, it’s IKEA furniture.

In a funny spoof video for GQ posted on Monday, Ryan demonstrates a valiant attempt to put together a crib for his and wife Blake Lively’s 9-month-old daughter. Unfortunately, the Swedish housewares company quickly proves itself a formidable villain for the new dad.

“I think the biggest issue I’m having with it is that the crib didn’t come assembled,” a hapless Ryan says over the phone, to a seemingly unhelpful customer service rep.

“I gotta be honest, I’m having a real hard time putting this thing together,” he adds, tossing aside various nuts and bolts in frustration.

The 38-year-old grows more desperate by the minute, but never loses his trademark wit.

“Besides a slow descent into alcoholism, I’m just really having trouble finding all the screws and the pieces that go with it,” he deadpans, while cracking open a beer. “I mean, there’s gotta be 100,000 pieces.”

Ryan soon decides he’s officially in over his head and asks for help outright.

“I’m just wondering if there’s a representative, or maybe five, that could come by and make this happen for me,” he requests unsuccessfully.

Despite his lack of options, Ryan doesn’t throw in the towel. Instead, he takes matters into his own hands and finally gets the crib upright with the help of trusty household duct tape and a few couch cushions.

Blake, whose lifestyle website, “Preserve,” features high-end, artisanal wardrobe pieces and household products, might not approve of her hubby’s makeshift solution, but Ryan appears pleased with his victory nonetheless.

“IKEA. Swedish for f*** you,” the actor mutters.
