New Side Of Mel Gibson Heard In Most Recent Tape

Another Mel Gibson tape was released by Radar Online on Thursday, this time showing a more mellow side to the actor.

“Hi, I’m just calling, to, um, to check on the, your status — the status of, um, bubby — the baby,” Mel reportedly said in a message to Oksana Grigorieva on February 20 at 12:56 PM, a day after he reportedly called the Russian singer up to 30 times.

“I want to talk reasonably… about schedules and how, how we, I haven’t got a voice left, how we go further… just reasonably,” he reportedly said.

The new recording has no threats, no cussing, no insults or racial slurs, just a man apparently drained from his previous tirades.

“There is no passion left anyway, so I don’t need to get mad,” he reportedly told Grigorieva.

The actor then appeared to offer assistance to the singer and their daughter Lucia.

“I just, you know, want to do the right thing now so that everybody is comfortable, alright? OK, bye,” Gibson reportedly said.

In related news, Grigorieva may be plotting her Hollywood future with a PR makeover. She’s hired power publicist Howard Bragman, Access Hollywood confirmed.

As of Thursday afternoon, a rep for Gibson had “no comment” on the situation.
