Newlyweds Brooke Burke & David Charvet Gush Over Marriage; Burke Contemplates Name Change

Brooke Burke and David Charvet were engaged for five years (and had two children) prior to tying the knot in St. Barts on Friday, but the gorgeous couple seems to be more in love than ever.

“Sending my 1st good morning tweet as Mrs. Charvet…Its true, we finally did it with love and certainty,” Brooke Tweeted on Sunday. “OMG, I am a married woman!!!”

The stunning “Dancing with the Stars” co-host also expressed her joy to ModernMom.com (Brooke serves as CEO of the website), and mused about changing her last name to include that of her new husband.

“Yes its true,” Brooke told the website. “After almost 20 years, David and I tied the knot in our favorite place in the world, St. Barts. It was the right time, in the perfect place, for all the right reasons. I am so happy, so in love, and so content.

“My only question is, Brooke Burke-Charvet or Brooke Charvet…What do you think?” she added.

David, 39, also shared his excitement over the couple’s “amazing” nuptials on his Twitter page.

“Waiting for my wife mrs charvet!!” he Tweeted on Sunday. “@brookeburke holy [expletive]!! can’t believe we did it. It was amazing…!”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Brooke and David began dating in 2005, and became engaged in 2006.

They have two children together — daughter Heaven, 4, and son Shaya, 3.

Brooke also has two daughters – Neriah, 11, and Sierra Sky, 9 – from her previous marriage to plastic surgeon Garth Fischer.
