Nick Hogan Released From Jail

Nick Hogan (real name Nick Bollea), Hulk Hogan’s 18-year-old son, was released from jail in Florida after serving five months in jail, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Nick was released from the Pinellas County Jail early Tuesday morning.

Nick was sentenced to eight months in jail in May after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving. Nick was out in his yellow Toyota in August 2007 with John Graziano, when he crashed the vehicle. Graziano was paralyzed as a result of the crash.

Nick’s mother, Linda, is asking the media to respect the family’s privacy during this period of “adjustment” for Nick.

“This is our time as a family to come together to support Nick’s adjustment back into the public life keeping it as normal as possible. Neither Nick, nor we as a family, has any interest in making this anything but private. We respect the media’s role and only ask that they respect our privacy,” Linda Hogan said in statement released to Access.

Linda says her son now hopes to bring positive change to the world without the glare of the media.

“Nick went into prison as a juvenile and has experienced something that will mold and affect him for the rest of his adult life. His focus is to make a positive difference in this world, media free. Since his future actions will speak louder than any words, there is no need to speak to the media at this time,” Linda went on to say in the statement.

Prior to the crash, the entire Hogan family starred in the reality show “Hogan Knows Best,” and sister, Brooke, has her own VH1 reality show “Brooke Knows Best.”
