Nick Loeb is speaking out about his recent comments regarding women’s fashion, telling Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush they were not related to ex-fiancee Sofia Vergara.
“In regards to my comments about women’s fashion I would like to reiterate that in no way referred to Sofia and am upset that my comment was misconstrued in such a way,” he said, referring to the “Modern Family” star.
Earlier this month, Nick told the New York Post, “I’m sort of a conservative, so I like a girl to dress a little classier… I’ve always sort of liked the more classic, elegant look on a woman.”

Nick said he still holds Sofia – who is now dating Joe Manganiello – in high regard. He also took to Twitter to address the comments.
“I have nothing but the highest admiration for Sofia, she is a class act,” he said in the statement to Access and also on Twitter.

Sofia and Nick, got engaged in July 2012 during the actress’ 40th birthday celebration in Mexico. The actress announced their split via her WhoSay and Twitter accounts in May.
