Nicki Minaj kept her lips sealed at Thursday night’s MTV Video Music Awards about rumors she’s very close to joining the “American Idol” judges panel.
“You know what? At this time, I have no comment on that one,” Nicki told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on the red carpet, when asked about the reports.
Nicki even admitted she’s not sure she’d make a great judge.
“I’ve never imagined myself as a judge because I tend to think everyone’s amazing – like even the crazy contestants, I always love them because, you know, they’re memorable,” she said. “So, I don’t know.”
Asked if she’d turn down an offer from “American Idol,” Nicki remained coy.
“People have made me offers that I’ve turned down before,” she added.
